Java Architect | Dallas, TX | Long Term Contract
- 8+ years of experience with the following: Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP) supporting high volume transactions in a Highly Available environment
- 2+ years’ of experience in Cloud deployment in a continuous integration and continuous delivery model (CI/CD) • 2+ years’ of experience with continuous build process using Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git, or similar tools
- 2+ years’ of experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
- Prior experience in IT Transformations and system modernization initiatives from legacy to distributed platforms; i.e. Mainframe Cobol apps/DB2 to Java apps/SQL or MongoDB
- 6+ years of experience in Distributed Databases; SQL Server, MongoDB, Informatica
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology and experience in an Agile working environment
- Experience with the Atlassian tool stack (JIRA et alia)
- Experience with .NET framework and programming tools (Visual Studio) and C# is a plus
- Experience in RabbitMQ is a plus
- Experience in Financial Services industry is a plus
- Experience in Test Driven Development is a plus
- Knowledge of Mainframe environment, including interfaces, tools, and associated technologies is a plus
- Knowledge of the following Mainframe tools/software: Batch Processing, Cobol, DB2, and Changeman is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in building solutions with Spring Projects such as Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Spring Cloud Data Flow
- 2+ years of experience with test automation using Mockito, Junit or similar frameworks.
