Job Title : Cloud Engineer
Location: Plano, TX – Duration: 12+ Months
Key Job Elements
· Evaluate existing architectures, identify gaps
· Create architectural guidelines and standards;
· Design, develop, and implement hybrid cloud environments;
· Design, implement, and execute security standards;
· Monitor environments for security vulnerabilities and take actions to remediate and/or mitigate risks ;
· Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis;
· Monitor applications and services within the environments, take actions to resolve issues and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences;
· Create Kubernetes deployment charts using helm
· Implement automation for deployments, CI/CD, security, and cloud operations
Required Skills:
· Minimum two years of experience working with Kubernetes
· Minimum two years of experience working with Openstack ecosystem
· Minimum 5 years of development using python and shell scripting
· Minimum two years of experience creating, building and testing Docker images
· Minimum of 2 years Creating, deploying and testing PODS using open stack helm
Preferred:
· Kubernetes certification
· Openstack administration certification
